Boudinet’s Curtain
About This Event
Boudinet’s Curtain is a film by Maya that juxtaposes interviews with queer individuals and their childhood photographs to explore silences, memory, and unrecorded identities. The film challenges the photograph’s role as visual evidence and approaches images through a material and sensory understanding that extends beyond seeing. It is part of the artist’s broader project of queering childhood. The screening is part of the Bangalore Documentary Film Festival, taking place at the Goethe-Institut, Max Mueller Bhavan in Bangalore.
