This 3-weekend workshop goes beyond just learning how to act on stage. It is designed for performers to experience end-to-end theatre production process and experience the language between the theatre maker and the audience! Sounds exciting? Keep reading... 

About the Workshop

A carefully designed 6-day, 3-weekend course that has been created by Tahatto as a detailed and passionate guided tour towards preparing oneself for the stage, for a role and for what it takes to practice theatre.

Enter Stage Right 2026 will be spread over 3 Weekends - Saturdays & Sundays starting Sept 26th. It will entail exploring the skills that go into... well... entering stage right. The workshop has also been designed to stay focused on the final performance by the participants who will stage a complete performance on Oct 11th 2026. The performance will be based on original scripts written by Tahatto. This ensures that right from the commencement of Enter Stage Right, the participants work and experiment with a script, and apply the methods and modules learned as part of the workshop. 

Workshop Specifications

The workshop is scheduled across 3 Weekends. Spacing the sessions across weekends, of course, makes it easier for working professionals and students, but the larger reason is that the week in between enables participants to absorb material from the session and work on it either collectively or individually. Since the workshop is also built around a performance that already has its script ready, individuals can apply methods from the workshop sessions into the text they have and build it into their performances practically.

The modules in the workshop touch upon critical aspects of theatre including:

Introduction to theatre and its demands 

Understanding text 

Understanding the actor`s tools - body, voice, and sensibility 

Stage presence & ensemble dynamics 

The importance of routine & preparation

Methods of performance readiness

The workshop will be conducted at Angala, which also doubles up as the rehearsal space for the final performance slated to premiere on Oct 11th which will be open for audiences.

Workshop Fees

Fees: Rs.14999 (includes Lunch & Snacks on all days)
