About This Community

The IIT Alumni Sports League (IASL) is a multi-sport community created to bring together alumni from all 23 IITs to compete, connect, and relive the spirit of their campus years through sport. In its 2026 Bengaluru pilot, IASL is launching the first-ever large-scale IIT alumni sports gathering, capped at 1,500 participants, with events that span running, cricket, swimming, badminton, athletics, pickleball and more. The league is designed for IIT alumni of all batches and campuses who want to rebuild their fitness, find teammates across IITs, and be part of a shared alumni sporting culture in the city.

What We Do

City-wide road race and community runs (including 5k and 10k runs, with events at Cubbon Park)
Multi-sport events covering cricket, swimming, badminton, athletics, pickleball and other sports under the same alumni league umbrella
Community workouts and alumni-focused fitness sessions in the lead up to race day and other league events
