97th show of Kannada Play ''Aadaddella Olithe''

One of Kriyative Theatre’s most popular plays, Adaddella Olithe, has already seen 96 houseful shows. The play is a hilarious comedy based on a story by Kannada humourist T.Sunandamma. It revolves round the antics of an elderly couple, Bhagu and Kapinipathi, whose children are grown up and live in faraway cities.  The old couple tease, nag each other and squabble about small, everyday things.  While the husband waits to take revenge against his son in law, the wife wants to play the tough mother-in-law. Her dream almost comes true when she manages to visit her son in Bombay. but the daughter in law turns out to be too tough for her. She is also totally confused by the Sardarji neighbour, Marathi maid and the English paying guest in Bombay and can't wait to get back home. The French son in law foils his father in law's plans by welcoming everything he does to unsettle him.  You have to see the play to find out how much of all this is a dream and how much is a reality.
