About This Event
Bengaluru Short Play Festival 2026 is jointly organized by Pravara Theatre and Ashvagosha Theatre Trust. Building on the success of its inaugural edition in March 2021, the festival has grown into a distinguished cultural landmark, consistently attracting talented theatre artists and enthusiastic audiences year after year. It serves as a vibrant platform for impactful short play performances, fostering creative exchange and a spirit of camaraderie among theatre practitioners. The festival extends its stage not only to the established theatre community but also to college troupes and emerging voices. With its inclusive spirit, BSPF 2026 seeks to ignite imagination, foster growth, and empower the next generation of storytellers to find their voice under the spotlight.
NOTE: There will be an 8 to 10 minute interval after each play to allow the next team to prepare for their performance. During these intervals, there will be appreciation segments honoring the individuals and partners who contribute to the spirit of the festival.
