ABOUT THE EVENT

This is a Comedy Play. The play Eraderadla Aidu is a Family drama set around 1974.

The story revolves around Krishnamurthy, an honest PWD clerk, whose honesty keeps his family peace at stakes. The play shows how he treads through the difficult circumstances and takes everything boldly and humorously. Here each of his family members have their own interesting stories to unveil.

Krishnamurthy had 2 wives, Rukmini and Satyabhama. Both are no more. Rukmini has one daughter Seetha and one son Hari. Satyabhama has one daughter Geetha. To mange things peacefully Krishnamurthy had divided his home vertically when his wives are alive. Still the system prevails. Both Seetha & Geetha are not supposed to cross the division line at any cost. Bothe quarrel all the time. The only bridge between two is their brother Ravi.

Seetha is married but not gone to her husband because Krishnmurthy has not met their Dowry demand yet. He is worried about this. Geetha is in love with someone else. Hari falls in love with a foreigner girl who has come to stay in their house to study Indian culture. All these events and happenings take a toll on Krishnamurthy. At the end everything is set right by Ramaa.

This play is directed by Shwetha Shrinivas & Aasif Kshathriya of RANGARATHA Indian Performing Arts Company for Sanchalana Mysuru NEW TEAM.

This play is written by Aasif Kshathriya.

The music is composed by Bhinnashadja.
