Kattala Neralu (ಕತ್ತಲ ನೆರಳು)

Kattala Neralu (Shadow in Darkness) is a Kannada adaptation of Scottish playwright David Harrower's critically acclaimed play 'Blackbird'. Set in contemporary Bengaluru, the play confronts a past sexual relationship between an adult and a child, exploring the complex and disturbing aftermath years later when the two come face to face. Director Venkatesh Prasad, who previously adapted A R Gurney's 'Love Letters' for Kannada audiences, brings this intense psychological drama to the Bengaluru stage.
