Maharathi - Story of Karn

Maharathi – Story of Karn is a Hindi theatrical production that retells the life of Karna, the tragic hero of the Mahabharata. Born of the sun god Surya and abandoned at birth, Karna grows up to become one of the greatest warriors of his age, yet is denied recognition at every turn due to questions of caste and lineage. The play explores his friendship with Duryodhana, his rivalry with Arjuna, and his unshakeable sense of honour. Directed by Aashish Rana (Bawa) and presented by Theatrenama, the upcoming performance is on 17 May 2026 at Ranga Shankara.
