Old Man and the Sea

Old Man and the Sea is a non-verbal puppet play produced under Ranga Shankara's AHA! Theatre for Children programme. Based on Ernest Hemingway's acclaimed novella, it tells the story of an old, experienced fisherman and his epic struggle with the greatest catch of his life. After days of returning empty-handed, he finally hooks a massive fish – but it proves too strong and pulls him into the deep sea. The story depicts his battle with the fish, sharks, and the vast ocean as he fights to survive and return home. Directed by S. Surendranath, with puppeteers Arun D T and Gagan Kumar. For children aged 6 and above.
