About This Event

Parallel is a play about two brothers, Vikram and Vijay, who clash over art, commerce, and integrity in the film industry.

Vikram is a serious writer pitches an experimental, women centric script to producer and director JJ. JJ loves it calls it new wave cinema with spine and wants to move ahead.

Meanwhile, Vijay, an upcoming actor, shows up. JJ reveals he actually met Vijay 3 years ago in Kochi and liked his synopsis for a commercial action film. Covid stalled it, but JJ now wants to prioritize this project.

This pits the brothers against each other.
