Shurpanakhi

Shurpanakhi is an experimental theatre production that weaves together Odissi dance, theatre, and Yakshagana into a powerful interdisciplinary performance. Reimagining Shurpanakhi not as a demoness but as a woman, the production explores her story through movement, emotion, and enquiry. Blending classical grace with strong theatrical expression, the work invites the audience to revisit a familiar narrative with empathy, sensitivity, and a deeply human perspective.
