Over the last 16 years Tuesdays with the Bard at Urban Solace poets have wrung tears of joy, nods of recognition, fleeting smiles, happy applause, wistful memories and several unforgettable poems.

ABOUT THE FEATURED POETS Sandhya Ranganathan

Sandhya Ranganathan is an author of three books Mia finds a home, Burma

to Bangalore and If Then Else. She has poems published in several anthologies,

blogs at Between the Tropics, YouTuber at Writing with Sandhya, and podcaster

at Mentza TBB, Army Adventures with Sandhya.

A Storm in my Soul is a collection of poems from the past four decades. Sandhya likes to write in free verse, and also experiment with different forms of verse such as rondeau, cinquain, sonnet, haiku and doha. She kept her poems private till she published some poems in anthologies during the lockdown. Sandhya did a few poetry episodes on her YouTube Channel, Writing with Sandhya. The Bookleaf 21 day writing challenge made her dust out old notebooks, check out documents online and complete some unfinished poems. She shares a part of the storm in her soul here.
